Hi! I'm using rainmeter for a long time now and I've learned a lot in terms of customizing skins. But I can't seem to solve a problem I'm having with all the dark gear skins!
I'm trying to change the font type to "imagine font" and it doesn't seem to work! I have that font installed on my pc, I'm sure it's a ".ttf" font, and when I try to change it in any other skin, it works, but on the dark gear ones it doesn't! The craziest thing is that if I try to change one of my dark gear skin fonts to any other font, it works! But when I try "imagine font" it just goes back to Arial!
Can anybody help me please??! It's driving me nuts!
Here's an example from "custom clock and date.ini":
;==================; ; DATE AND TIME ; ;==================;
[Variables] update.Spd=60 Color1=255, 255, 255, 217 Color2=255, 255, 255, 160 FontName=imagine font <<<<<<<================================================================= THIS IS WHERE I CHANGED THE FONT! FontHeight1=12 FontHeight2=8 AntiAlias=1
;===========================================; ;ANALOG SECOND Start; ;===========================================;
;This is 'The Circle', add semicolon ';' before each ;of the following line to remove it
I guess I figured it out! The thing is that the dark gear skins DO NOT ACCEPT FONTS THAT ARE NOT "OPEN TYPE"! I found this out after struggling many times trying to change the font and refreshing over and over again. I'm glad I finally understood what was going on, but it ends up being kind of a problem, cause finding open type fonts seems very tough. I hope ~farisinsua can change the code so it accepts "True Type Outline" fonts too.
I tried a little bit and now it works. So, for all guys who wants German days and month in "custom clock and date" can chance it in the ini-file:
Go to this line and replace the following lines: [MeasureWeek] Measure=Time Format="%A" Substitute="Sunday":"Sonntag","Monday":"Montag","Tuesday":"Dienstag","Wednesday":"Mittwoch","Thursday":"Donnerstag","Friday":"Freitag","Saturday":"Samstag"
